Best app for PDFs
Great tool for business, love it!
Best app for PDFs!!!
Very Good for studying highly recommended
I use to use the app for school and it was pretty good actually. It wasn’t awkward and glitchy like GoodNotes and it didn’t randomly lose your files like Noteability. But when I got out of school and saw how much it costs…bro. 70 Dollars (50 in USD) per year for a PDF editing app is just outrageous. You can’t even make more then one page in a document unless you pay. Like is this app paying my taxes? Why does it cost so much? But…if you happen to be Jeff Bazos or found the infinite money cheat code, then this app isn’t half bad actually.
They removed features that were originally available and I’m pretty sure I paid for this app and now they remove the feature to add it behind a new subscription feature
I loved this app until the last update. I have the newest iPad Pro and the latest upgrade makes the app run so slow that I’m going to cancel my subscription and use a different app. Switching between documents takes forever and the app is constantly unresponsive. I
It has consumed 22 GB of internet without using this app.
I can only see my signature when viewing the PDF using this app. When I export to iCloud or email, the signature gets removed.
Not capable of doing what I expected it to do.
Tried editing a PDF, couldn’t. Afterwards there was a LOCK on my file that I did NOT place. Why did you lock my file?!?!?
terrible , have been dealing with this nightmare and cant retrieve my important files
I purchased this app before and when I updated it, it forced me to pay subscription again on an app that I already purchased. Biggest SCAM
Redacted 126 pages of FOUO documents in less than 20 minutes. great app! 🔺🔺🔺
I’ve used PDF Expert on both my iPhone and Mac. It’s helped me sign tax documents, redline commercial agreements. Heck, ive even found it useful in the purchase and remodel of my new home. Its robust and reliable, and exceptional value for money.
Thank you for listening to our feedback and removing the “AI explain” button when selecting text. Now if you also remove the ugly AI button from the toolbar (top right) that would be fantastic.
Right now I’m learning is it free or do I have to be charge to edit my pdf. I will see soon:)
I deleted the app and canceled it the same day. I am very careful on free offer deadlines. But after the free period was up they still charged me $79.99 and it says canceled renewel. Well I canceled a week ago. IT’s FRAUD!!!
Simply hate subscriptions. Love to pay whatever for a perpetual.
Need to be able to send for signature, then it’d be a 5.
They recently updated their app because they didn’t want to feel left out of destroying the environment, all so that I can maybe understand something 1.3 seconds faster than I normally would. Easiest app deletion ever - thanks PDF Expert!
I bought the app 6 years ago but now everything is locked behind a subscription. What gives
This is a decent app. For what it’s worth I basically use my iPad to read PDFs. I do a lot of reading academic works, such as journal articles and books with a lot of citations. I hate to say these critical things, because I’ve used the app for years and I hope these things can be amended so that they could allow the user to customize the features that they really use. 1. The highlighting, underlining and annotation of the document: I only use a few items of the numerous choices of marking up or annotating the document: underlining, highlighting, making a box to emphasize a paragraph, maybe putting in a comment by typing in a side note, adding an exclamation or question mark, and putting in a mark by drawing on the pdf (if it’s not set up for using the underlining). However, there are so many different options of what to do… I wish I could eliminate the “strikeout” and “AI explain” as it just adds an extra button for me to accidentally push. The text of the different choices is all in a line of very small letters. 2. Having the option to draw on the PDF sequestered in the “annotation” section is cumbersome to do this every time you need to write on the document. 3. Having the scroll bar on the right side of the document doesn’t really work as it is easy to accidentally touch it and accidentally move to another section of the document. If you’re not being attentive to what page you’re on you will have to search for where you had been reading. 4. When you search for an author or a title of the work sometimes it doesn’t come up even though you know you have it somewhere because you had been reading it. It’s bizarre but sometimes it’s possible to find it and sometimes not. 5. When you have to rename the document you have a little box to type the new name in it. And if the file name is too long, you can’t see what it was called in the first place. If you have the file names scrolling, this is distracting and too much visual stimulation. Please just make the boxes big enough so that we can see the whole file name. 6. If you have enough files you can quickly be overwhelmed at how these files aren’t able to be organized properly because of #5. And it doesn’t help when it’s easy to duplicate the same documents when you don’t know where to find the original document, because of #4. And because of the “little box” problem, it is just impossible to properly account for all of the files; you don’t know what files are really what they are if you can’t actually read the whole file name. The iPad is a good device but it’s not a computer with a big enough screen, and it doesn’t have the capabilities of a finder window which can open multiple windows to organize files. So it’s necessary to streamline the organization of the files. Please find an answer to this.
I will not be updating this app anymore. I don’t want anything to do with LLM trash. Stupid tech industry. Stop DOING this to everything!
Re problem
Anytime I even move a text box the whole thing resets and I have to wait 10-30 seconds before any other action can be taken, even moving the form for further review while I wait is not possible. Anytime I write a word starting with “fi”, it separates the “fi” from the rest of the text to its own text box. I then can’t move the text box or copy and paste without a need to edit “fi” back into my words. One text box crossed another text box and it merged the 2 boxes into some weird jumble. Couldn’t separate to copy and paste, or even read the words to just type again. I’ve spent more time correcting issues from the app than on my actual work itself. If I weren’t paying for this, I’d give 4*, but given I’m spending money to waste a lot of my time, I’m giving 1*. If you wanna charge money, the bugs should be minimized and not as big a nuisance as they are
I own PDF Expert on my Mac desktop computer, and it’s a great application. Why did this otherwise amazing company have to release the product on iOS that has an outrageous yearly fee that never ends? I would happily pay a reasonable one time fee to have a good app for the rare occasions that I need to create or manipulate PDFs on my iPad. But paying $50 a year until the end of time? No thank you.
I installed the PDF expert app projecting it to accent the pre-existing purchase with having a subscription in the Documents app also made by Readdle. Unfortunately it seems that these two apps are basically mirrors of each other in programming and design. I will see if there are any added features with a subscription that would be worth the purchase however it looks highly unlikely as it functions exactly as the documents app.
So easy to use.
For two days and then stopped turning pages in connection with pageflip firefly. Of course you never know whether it’s the device or the app, one developer will point the finger at the other. Anyway it’s not working so can’t recommend it.
Excellent almost 5-Stars. Has many built-in tools, many capabilities. Maybe too many. Wish you could simplify (turn off and hide some options). It can do almost anything with a PDF, maybe more than I (or you) need. Still very good app, tho.
免费用户没有ai调用权限, 但是还是显示了长按后的ai按钮
This has always been a great app, but in recent years they have been heavily promoting AI features with no way to remove the ugly button the toolbar. Please provide an option to hide it without paying for a subscription. I have an old one time IAP that gives me all of the features I need.
The app has actually been very helpful in filling in documents while I’m on the go and away from my laptop. Very easy and intuitive to use. I love how I can directly edit PDFs that are saved to my cloud storage like Google Cloud, this is very convenient! Definitely prefer this over Adobe’s solution. It’s lightweight and doesn’t bother too much with ads or signing up for a subscription. Very responsive too, not heavily bloated. The devs did an amazing job on this app!
This has been one of my go-to apps for work, but I can use it any more because it keeps crashing all of a sudden. Please help!
挺好用的 但是最近出现了如果想放大 放大PDF到某一个成都就会突然闪退
App did not work, still would have billed me $50 for a temporary use document editor - avoid
Could not do interpretation of data presented to it.
Review of Readdle Applications On October 8, 2015, several Readdle applications were purchased, including PDF Expert, Printer Pro, Scanner Pro, PDF Converter, and Calendar 5. Additionally, PDF Expert for iMac and MacBook was bought for $50 each. Over the years, additional payments were made for PDF Expert updates. Now, PDF Converter no longer works, and PDF Expert fails to open PDF documents, rendering these applications useless. This has resulted in a significant waste of both money and time. The overall experience has been extremely disappointing. These purchases turned out to be a scam, as the software no longer functions as expected, and there is no proper support for long-time users.
Loveee it
My Adobe fill & sign stopped working so I’m looking for alternatives. PDF Expers not even close to Adobe
Whenever I’m inserting some texts using iPad or Bluetooth keyboard, the keyboard will suddenly disappear after a few seconds and then quickly come back. Never happens to other apps. Please fix, thank you!
I do not mind paying a one time fee for an app I will use for a few years but really hate the subscription model, particularly on IOS devices. I have no doubt this is a great app but not for me as a student. All this monthly or yearly payments end up adding up to a lot of money spent.
Very easy to understand on first use. I didn’t find instruction for a while, and I have no regular need for a subscription since I am retired. I copied about ten IRS -related documents and sent them to my tax preparer. I will promote PDF Export!
I’ve been using this for years now, both professionally and personally. I love the ease of use and multitude of tools. But… with the most recent update, any file over a few megabytes crashes the app as soon as I edit anything. With larger files, ie. >40mb, it tends to crash right after opening.
Lo he usado por años y es muy versátil
It is by far the best one.
After spending an hour annotating a PDF document, all changes were lost. Very frustrating. Going to use something else.
You cannot even delete pages without subscribing for the premium version, which used to only be a one time purchase. The app isn't worth it.
The App is convenient to use.
I NEVER take time to rate apps but…this deserves it. I travel across the country and frequently have to following work orders and have customers sign them. This app is a life saver in so many ways.
Best feature rich app ,loving it.
